Jobs are plentiful in Fort Bend County, Texas

Employment opportunities are no doubt on the top of most people's lists when deciding where to live. A recent report from CNN Money Magazine named Texas' own Fort Bend County as one of the top 25 locations in the country for people to find a job.If someone is looking for a place to settle down, Sugar Land, Missouri City or Houston properties are where they should start. Fort Bend Country ranked fifth on the magazine's list, only to be outranked by Douglas County (Colorado), Lincoln County (South Dakota), and Hays and Williamson counties (both in Texas).
Due to Fort Bend County's recent population growth, there have been a number of jobs popping up in the education industry due to the influx of families with children, the magazine said. There are also plenty of employment opportunities if a person wants to get into the oil industry or work with Texas Instruments, a micro-electronics giant. The magazine also predicts that the healthcare industry will start growing in this area soon.
The housing market in Texas also fared better than most during the financial crisis, making this an ideal place to buy a home.
