What authority do I have to negotiate commissions? It is our policy that agents are on the front lines; Therefore, you decide how much you will charge clients for your services. | Back to Top
What about the For Sale Yard Signs?
Option 1: You can use our signs for FREE! Just leave a $25 deposit and bring the sign back when you're done. Use your name riders to get the leads!
Option 2: You can purchase your own signage for your listings. While at first that sounds like it costs you money, it actually MAKES you money because your phone number is dominant on the sign. You can put your number directly on the sign which means you get ALL the buyer calls on your listings! Shouldn't you profit the most by getting all the calls from listings you get? Think of the additional business you will receive from that aspect alone. We have multiple vendors ready to ship signs directly to you. | Back to Top
Am I limited to selling residential real estate? No. You may specialize in any TREC compliant real estate practice you choose. If you have received commercial real estate training, then you are welcomed to do commercial as well. | Back to Top
What types of agents can join 2M Realty? Any agent can join us. Whether you specialize in sales, leasing, buyers, sellers, commercial, land, foreclosures, or any other real estate type, as long as you have your real estate license, you can benefit from the 2M Realty system. | Back to Top
Where do I meet with my clients? Many top-producing agents spend their time in the field, not in an office, but still need the convenient access of a meeting room. With this in mind, 2M Realty has arranged for small, elegant suites around the Houston area. These offices include elegant meeting/board rooms, Internet Acces, copy rooms, flip charts and phone access. At this time, there are 10 offices around the Houston area available for use.
Otherwise, many agents will ask permission of a title company to use a conference room or spare office. Some agents will use mortgage offices. Since wireless internet hotspots are just about everywhere these days, some agents meet their clients at local shops such as Starbucks or Panera Bread. Most wireless phone companies offer a laptop network card that will allow you to be online anywhere you can use your cell phone! With today's technology, the world is your office. | Back to Top
Where is 2M Realty located and can I use the office? 2M Realty is located in Houston, Texas. You may use our full service locations as needed, or you can use any of the 10 office suites located in the Houston area. Will my monthly fees ever go up? Absolutely not. Our policy is to award loyalty by NEVER raising your monthly fee. If we advertise higher fees in the future, only new agents joining at that time will pay those fees. We will not raise your monthly fee. | Back to Top
How are commissions disbursed? Prior to each closing an agent needs to complete a Commission Disbursement Sheet. Upon receipt, we authorize the title company to cut your commission directly to you. | Back to Top
Do I have to pay any office fees, desk fees or franchise fees? No, You don’t have to join ANY office fees, desk fees or franchise fees. | Back to Top
Will I need to join the Houston Association of Realtors? 2M Realty is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors. It is recommended that for you to enjoy the benefits of being a REALTOR and have access to the Houston MLS that you should also become a member of the Houston Association of Realtors. However, it is not mandatory and if you decide not to join then 2M Realty will be assessed a $309 non-member fee for sponsoring an agent that is not part of the Association. How does the 30-day money back guarantee work? If you are not satisfied with the 2M Realty agent program your first 30 days of joining, we will refund your monthly fee, no questions asked.

Where can I get answers to my important questions? With 2M Realty, you are never alone! We have several ways to get you answers to your questions. With real estate questions, you can call or email our knowledgeable staff including experts of Real Estate, Computer and I.T. help, and Administration support. What is the process of switching my license to 2M Realty? You can be an active 2M Realty Agent TODAY! The process is very simple. You simply click the sign up button to get your account set up. You will fill out and send in the "TREC Change of Sponsorship Form" provided in your emailed welcome packet. Then, you must provide written notice to your previous broker that you have decided to change sponsorship. Once your sponsorship form has been postmarked and your broker has been notified, you have officially joined 2M Realty. That's it! | Back to Top
